Trump appears to be lying through his teeth there about not knowing, but it’s one of maybe three or so times I ever heard him say something that, while his motive for doing so was really questionable given his actions and also his other statements, it at least wasn’t an outright vile insult. Remember, y’all, it’s a CHOICE to act ugly.

Trump would look for any reason to trash somebody even his own party, complete psychopath.

Senator John McCain would have made a great American President. It just so happened he ran against a charismatic leader like Obama, and lost. But against most other opponents, he would have won. He was a real hero and man of principles.

McCain is the polar opposite of Trump. He could have had a pretty good chance to win if he didnt get the bad luck of going against the force of nature - Obama. Glad he didnt tho, because he was one of the last of his kind, and would have brought some of the worst people with him into the white house.

McCain embodied the values and outstanding moral character that the Republican party once had. But if we look back at previous elections the candidates may not always agree on the same things but they never attacked their opponents character or families, they kept it to politics and politics only. Trump has turned the party into something i don't recognize anyone. Yes I'm a registered Democrat but if I see a Republican candidate that embodies what I I want from my country they get my vote just like George w did.
